According to their website the auto jumble starts again next saturday. Would be interesting to see how many sellers and buyers actually risk it.

Rufforth AUTOJUMBLE OPEN 6th June 2020..
Following the government’s latest guidelines we can now reopen.
We ask all customers to follow government social distancing guidelines, we have put things in place to help with this.
Also if you feel unwell or showing any symptoms please stay at home.
Usual times / prices etc.
Buyers from 8am onwards.
Sellers from 6 am onwards.
Look forward to seeing everyone."

Hope it goes well for you all. If it does I may give Lincoln Autojumble`s `Motorbike Theme` a look on the 27th June. Failing that, I`ll wait until `Normous Newark`...unless I`ve spent-up.

It'll be interesting to read any report about the autojumble on this Forum, from anyone who might attend it...

I was there. Only half the stalls there so plenty of room between the stalls, and less than half the usual attendance. Social distancing was very easy as everyone was being sensible and plenty of room to avoid people. New nut and bolt guy there with good prices so that was good, and got the case of primer I was after so it made a great change of scenery from mooching around at home. I do wonder whether word hadn't got out about it being on which was why it was so quiet.

I went to the July autojumble. A lot more stalls, and more people. Most people at stalls were back to the usual shoulder to shoulder buying. Masks were worn either below the nose(?) or pulled down to talk in close conversation (apart from one guy that wore his as a bandana on his forehead). Outside was still OK. Inside was not very comfortable at all. As if nothing happened. I will be giving the next one a miss.

Cheers Col

Well the next Autojumble should be first Saturday of May (2021!). I'll be there still with my mask and gathering nuts, bolts, carb cleaner, and metal stock.

I'll be there if it is fine, I like the outside stalls for used bits and bobs, inside is good for new stock. it's a bit of a trek from Burnley but usually worth it.

Shame the Garstang auto jumble has finished

Didn't there use to be an autojumble over at Skipton at the auction center? Or has that gone as well. I think Scorton is still on but it seems to blow a bit hot an cold these days as far as stalls and motorbike content goes. if all goes well I'll probably do a few 'Normous Newarks as they are only a bit smaller than Kempton. Hope nothing changes, and we can all get out and do a bit more!

Cheers Col

There is one in Skipton auction mart 3 times a year I think, run by the people who ran Garstang, its not as bust as Rufforth but it does have bike stuff.
