Nineteen club members and guests turned up for the talk and look around the museum, we had members from W,Sussex, Surrey,E.Sussex and one member from S.London rode his Bantam down. The visit was very informative about the Shackleton Aircraft, many thanks to Ashleigh and the two volunteers who gave the talks, this is a very good museum and is well worth a day visit. Thanks to all those who turned up.

It was a pleasant ride down on a hot evening. I was surprised that the only other Bantam was also a D14S (or was it a Bushman?). After a most interesting tour I stopped at The Plough, Leigh on the way home for refreshments. Although not a 'biker' pub the landlord is an enthusiast.
The Bantam will be on display on the SERV Surrey & South London stand at the Scout's Fete in Balmoral Road, Worcester Park KT4 8SR on Saturday 30th June from 11.00 for anyone who is local and wants to see it in the flesh!
