You do know that the left and right halves are machined as a pair and shouldn’t be mismatched?

Please forgive the intrusion but you might improve your chances if you asked for a matching pair of crankase halves.

Hi ive used a mismatched pair before and its been fine and on a rd350lc engine again with no problems but yes best to match a pair, this is for a cut away project so matched is not important thanks.

If it’s for a cut-away project then you should really be looking for scrapped casings. I certainly wouldn’t want to sell you a good pair, knowing they were going to be cut about. Just my opinion of course.

I wouldnt be using a matched pair to cut away either hence a mismatched pair i was after putting together and if i get a matched pair i will be using them on my bantam trials im building so hope that clears things up!!!
