Hi all I am a new member joined in January I am trying

to put a BSA Bantam together but struggling to find parts.

I would like a D14/B175 complete engine but they seem

to be a bit difficult or out of my price range.

So second option is trying to build one from parts I wondered

if any one could help me please. I am looking for a complete

gear box, a points cam and a primary cover, are these hard

to get hold of or is there somebody that could help me with

these parts please. I was hoping to be on the road for spring

but everything I want is such a struggle to get I live in

Wakefield West Yorkshire if this would help you.

thank you for taking time to read and hope the help comes

rushing in best regards Steve

Welcome fellow D14 owner, plenty more of us on here, and B175 owners too. Good luck hunting down those spares, perhaps as some sell their bikes, they may have spares available at a fair price?

Plenty of primary covers pop up, you should be ok there.Around £10-£15?

C/b points cam I think are readily available around twenty-five quid mark(I mean, Steve), quite a lot for such a small item, too much for me, I`d wait until one turns up at a sensible price, perhaps less than half that, which they do now&then.

As for the gear cluster c/w selector mechanism, they appear on ebay etc, seen two sets recently but not sure what state they`d be in. Seen them from £25 to £75. I will need some D14 gearbox components later this year.

Complete "decent" engines...£400 to £750?

If you click on Advanced at top r/h corner of your ebay page and enter the item and click on sold items, it`ll give you an idea what stuff`s been fetching over the last 3 months....but prices secured can vary a lot....quantity of items on the market and demand at any given time....usual story.

Keep refreshing your Wanted request on here, would be my suggestion.
