After looking around alot of places I cant get hold of a clutch compressor tool. If anybody has 1 spare i could buy it would be great.

Or if there are any different ways of doing it what 3 legged puller did you use. Thanks

Carl.

A reasonably large 3 legged puller should work but you'll need a pretty large socket or something to clear the clutch centre and possibly grind some off the bottom of one of the feet to clear the cases as access can be a little tricky(at least that's what I found).Theres normally plenty of bantam specific ones on Ebay though I'm surprised.

What's 7/16 in mm again?

You probably won't use it frequently, but like a flywheel extractor, when you need it it's far easier.

Here's my setup...standard 3" / 4" three legged puller, outer race of an old ball bearing, a big washer and a spurious bit of metal with a hole in the middle. It is tight on the puller legs but with a bit of juggling it all fits OK.

Some of the Ebay ones appear to be a bit flimsy looking at previous topics.
