Morning Maddog,

I'm coming to Melbourne visiting family in October.

I have a tidy running work in progress (aren't they all) 1955 D3 Major plunger and may have some overspill bits and pieces.

Looking at your link I'm sure you can get whatever you need but just let me know if there's anything you need that I would be allowed to bring on the flight and I'll see if I can help you out.

I could always pop round just to say hello, look at your Bantam and buy you a beer anyway?

If it's fighting against you two big hammers are always better than one.

Nice one Andrew! appreciated.  My garage looks like an IED has gone off inside it! and we can always look at the pile of bits that is my Bantam over a beer or two! LOL!......   I'm out Boronia way if you want to google it....  Beer sounds good (doesn't it always!!!)

MD cheers

PS

Since being threatened with the junk yard I think the bike is starting to come around.....  Bones is also in Victoria and I believe he is now the owner of Oz Bantams.

G'day Maddog,

Did the Blues Train last night so my ears are still ringing.

And about 300 km of the Great Ocean Road today - unfortnately not on a Bantam!

12 Apostles.

What a beautiful - massive - country.

Ride safe.

Hi Barnsley

I grew up in Geelong, so imagine the Great Ocean Road with 100kph speed limit the whole way and basically no traffic!!

This is how I spent every Sunday morning in the early 80's with many mates. Some unfortunately no longer with us due to that road.

These days the "fun police" have chopped the speed limit to 60kph in most places............and it seems the whole state of Victoria wants to drive it at the same time.

The British 2 Stroke Club is having their 3 consecutive Rally there again next year.

Hope you are enjoying the Great Southern Land...............If you get east of Melbourne give me a call

Bones

Running and project bikes from 1912 -2005..........She hasn't said stop yet.........
