Hi,

Suffolk Area Newsletter 2019 Number 1
Hello fellow bantamites!

First of all,my sincere apologies for the patchy service with the Suffolk newsletter in
the past.
There is a list of some Suffolk events on the Suffolk section of the club forum. I will
try to attend as many of these as I can this year, but I won’t be able to attend them all,
as my other half & I will be leaving the area & moving to her family home in
Warwick.
So here is the big ask, is there anyone out there in sunny?? Suffolk that wishes to pick
up the baton of the area rep?
During the time that I have been the custodian of this position has been good meeting
those of you that have supported me at the shows has been a real pleasure. Thank you
all for your help over the years!
I will continue as the Suffolk area rep up until the Copdock show in October, then I
will hand the reins to whoever wants to take on the role. There is also the matter of
the club gazebo that I finally managed to get hold of, if anyone wants to take over
from me, then it will stay with you, for use in the future.
Also, I am the bearer of some sad news ,for those of you that ventured into bandit
country & went to some shows in Essex, Trevor Jones (B175 with one off gas rear
shocks) passed away recently my thoughts are with his family & friends.
If anyone fancies a go at the area rep position, please feel free to contact myself, Pete
Wilson, or the area reps co ordinator. I wont become a total stranger though, I may
well pop up at some Suffolk area shows in 2020 & beyond, so be warned!!
