Firstly a Big Thank You to Matt and Mark Adams for meeting up and contributing to the formulation of our 2020 Branch Calendar of Events. All are welcome to attend and join in with our activities.

Please find below the calendar of events for 2020, and note there may be additional events added throughout the year this is due to certain event dates not being available at the time of compiling the calendar.

All dates, additions and venues to be confirmed as we go through the year via the Area Reps Section on the Club website.

Any volunteers to plan and lead the ride outs would be welcome and I will add your name against your preferred ride out date - please contact me. Hi ,

I have just read your message , referring to the 2020 calendar of events.

It says the first event is Jan 28th ,  natter night.

In the Bantam Banter magazine I have noticed it refers to  this coming weekend an event at the Newark show ground.

The Carol Nash classic bike show on 11th and 12th Jan.

Also the event is shown online.

Is the Bantam club now not having a stand at the show ?.

I have a Bantam D7 1961 plate and was looking toward a visit , a chat and possibly some parts to bring home .

Please let me know if you will still be at the show.

Best regards Terry ( 3588 ).

My d7 might be super one day !

Hi Terry,

if I can jump in on this, hopefully to explain.

The 2020 calendar of events that you are viewing is for the very active south Derbyshire and Nottingham local section, not for the entire national club events.

The Newark Winter Classic Bike Show is indeed on this coming weekend, 11 and 12 January. There will indeed be a Bantam Club stand, hopefully 14 bikes. This display is organised by the Lincolnshire Section of the Bantam Owners Club, hence why it does not appear in the local calendar of events that you are viewing on this post. Please go and say hello, but make sure that you speak to someone on the stand and introduce yourself and they will be pleased to talk to you. There are always lots of casual onlookers at this type of stand, that is why, if you have a specific interest, you have to speak first, don't be afraid to do that.

By the way, this is a bike show, not a specific autojumble. There will be some secondhand parts for sale and also traders, But do not expect to come away with everything that you need. You may, you may not.

Enjoy the show, I intend to. Regards.

Hi Wildun,

Thanks for advice regarding the bsa display stand this weekend.

Much appreciated, I will hopefully be able to come on Sunday.

I'll look forward to meeting both yourself and other members.

Some I may recall meeting at my first visit to the stand at the Woollaton Autocarna last summer !.

Cheers Terry

My d7 might be super one day !
