Took the D1 out for a run thoroughly enjoyable evening with good company and chip butties too...

nice to meet a few people and always nice taking the d1 for an evening ride. Accompanied by my father and his friend on a kawasaki 1600 and a harley davidson. I think they struggled finding a gear low enough to keep up with me.

Hi Jason. Enjoyed the meeting tonight. Well worth travelling from Nottingham. Great to meet up with others interested in Bantams. And good to see a D1 and Bushman in the car park. Wont be able to make it to all your meetings but will certainly come again in the near future. Will see if i can bring Giles with me next time........ Mark.

Chaps I couldn't have wished for a better opening evening. thanks to all who attended and I cant wait for next time. yes I agree that D1 was gorgeous and so was the Bushman. this has inspired me to get a shift on with my own bikes. thanks Mark for travelling all that way to give support, much appreciated. and it would be nice to see Giles too.

yes what a contrast, Harley sets off followed by a 1600 vee twin Kawasaki followed by the ring ting ting of the 125cc D1. guess which one turns more heads.... those D1's really make people smile as the go by, and they smell nice too. laugh

see you all next time guys on the 17th when we will be joining the BSA bunch.

Jason

thumbs-up
