Wow,what a little beauty, always liked that model but never owned one.

Lived at RAF North Luffenham in 1976(not in the RAF) and when we moved into an old Victorian end terrace down a dead-end alley, opposite in the shed, the previous occupants had left a pair of CB160 wheels.I remember thinking that twin-leading front brake would suit the D14 I was riding at the time.Wish I`d kept them.

Hi Blue, the rims were knackered on this one so now got alloy and stainless spokes and you're right that TLS on the front is a great stopper and would look great on a set of heavyweight Bantam forks,

I have sent you a PM ref.the gear lever

Well, early Sept has been pretty good for us for many years (climate change permitting) and you may still find something at a Brocante, or keep an eye on ** Please log in to view ** ( in the Motos category)

I've just had a stroke of luck, managed to find an original seat for the CB160 complete with the chrome trim at the back,so dropped it off at Tony Archers for re upholstering, nice to have a bit of good luck for a change.
