Hi there, sorry to be a pain, I'm geting some 'old style' supplying dealer stickers made up for my D14. Based on year and registration area of the reg number I'm getting that it would have first been supplied to JT Dickinson of Middlesbrough,  if it isnt a pain to double check, could you confirm if that's correct for D14B 3766

Thanks

Rich

D14B 3766 was supplied to Armstrong of Middlesbrough on the 5th March 1968. It was originally blue. Under the dealers list, the only dealer shown for Middlesbrough was J.T.Dickinson (as you say) , so I don't know who this Armstrong is.....

Current bikes......1958 D5, a 77 Suzuki GT250 and a 77 Honda CB125S. I have a 74 Kawasaki S3 400 and a B175 waiting for restoration. A 1980 Honda CB400N waiting for MOT.  Everyday ride is a 2011 Harley Davidson Sportster.

Ahh, thats interesting, I'd got my info from the back of the parts manual and as you say theres no Armstrong listed in there. A bit of research is in order.

Thanks again for your help

Apparently they opened in 1893 and closed in 2009, not a bad run.

They were on Linthorpe road, the same as Dickinsons, so there must be a connection
