Hi everybody. I know that winter may well be still to come but I'm going to ask you all if you'd like to get the Bantam fettled, get your warm clothes out and meet me at Bardney Station heritage centre on Saturday the fifteenth of February at half past ten - weather permitting, of course. It would be good to see you all. Ken.

Sounds good to me, Ken.

Barring impassable roads, I will do my best to be there.

You have checked that the cafe is open then, I assume?

Regards.

Hi everyone. I've spoken to the chap at Bardney to make sure they'll be open on Saturday 15th of next month for our get together and the answer is yes. He asked if I could give him a rough number of people who might be there. I said I couldn't really say what with the weather and all that. However, perhaps you could let me know whether you'll be going with a few days to spare so I can pass it on to him. Thanks a lot Ken.

Now then Ken,

Weather forecast is grim for Saturday, storms, windy. Are we still going for it ?

Yes we are; well, I shall give it a good go, at least. See you there, hopefully.
