Just joined the Bantam Club.
Started restoring a 1959 D7 with my dad around 20 years ago. Had it stripped, painted and rebuilt but never got it finished.
Over the last few months I have got it to a point where I would say it's more or less finished. The main jobs were fitting an electrex electronic ignition and rebuilding the carb with new jets.
Now just waiting for the DVLA to issue an age related number. The paperwork has was sent in around 4 weeks ago so hopefully not too much longer to wait.
Looking forward to finally riding it on the road and not just round the back garden.
Would be interested to know if there are many other members over here in Northern Ireland.
Any advice or pointer on my bike would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Phil to the Club and the Forum. That is a very nice looking bike you have there. Personally I far prefer the peanut tank to the jelly mould and your paintwork does it justice. Hopefully not too long until you're creating havoc in the back lanes of Ulster in a blue haze 🙂
You will find just about everything you could ever want on the Forum via the FAQs and technical sections; ** Please log in to view **
Have a really good nose around the forum and enjoy yourself. Looking forward to seeing your progress.
All the best,
