Hi there

my name is Steve Murphy, people call me Murph. I live on the Isle of Wight, have done all my life, worked in Aerospace industry , about to retire! Dig out the D7 from the back of the shed, haven’t touched it for 40 years! So rebuilding is required . thought I would join the club for some comradely information and advice! Bald, Bearded , Bewildered and in possession of a wife and several Grandchildren ! I also have several other machines, Ariels triumph and Enfield, also a C15. Please be gentle with me!

Happy Bantaming Murph, good move to stash the D7 away for your retirement. We`ll help you cope with the complexities of the smokey chook.  Still got my forty-quid Bantam, purchased from my Dad in 1975, rough as a badger`s behind.

Hi Murph, you sound like me - bald, bearded and bewildered. Plenty on the forum to help you, have a look through FAQs for a start, where virtually everything has been covered. Another site which is dedicated to a D7 is ** Please log in to view **, together with other stuff in LINKS. Then if you join the club you get more info access in the Members area.
