I am an 53 (born in 1967) years old swiss guy. I live in Langenthal which ist between Bern and Zurich. Unfortunately my english is very bad - so sorry for that :-(. Hopefully ** Please log in to view ** helps 😉

In 2016 I could buy a 125ccm D1, dissassembled and in 4 boxes paked. In January 2017 I recieved the certificate from owners club.  Until end of 2017 I build up the bike without the electrical part... Since then I had no time to work on the D1. And now "thanks" to Corona crisis I a have time to work on it again. For electrical part I found different wiring diagrams but no one who fits to my parts. But now I found your website and hope that somebody can help me.

I have also a running BSA B33 (1954) and two BSA bicycles.

So, now I'm curious to see what happens next smile

Best regards

Ernest

PS: I tryed to upload some pictures but I failedembarassed

Hello Ernest, welcome. -You certainly write OK in english!

If you can post your engine number (stamped near the top front engine mount probably) we can probably tell what system you have. 3 possibilities are Wico Pacy, Wipac and Lucas.

This is the Wico Pacy Egg-Lt.JPG

Then the Wipac1956-D3-Wipac.JPG

I don't have a picture of the Lucas system - but the crankcase on the generator side is different for that version. They are all covered in the forum, probably in the FAQs section.

 Hello Ernest,

Yes your translation app worked well 🙂 We speak many forms of English throughout the UK 😉

Look forward to seeing some photographs of your little Bantam. Good luck with putting them on the forum and with your project, especially the wiring.

I`m going with German being your spoken language, as you used ist, haha . Ist das richtig, ja?

Regards,

Blue

(Hallo Ernest,
Blau)

Hello Ernst, and a very warm welcome to the Forum. You must have one of the very few Bantams in Switzerland 🙂 Do not worry about the language barrier-  we will find a way. Actually many of our members struggle with English and they have lived in Britain all their lives 🙂 It already looks like you've made great progress but there is plenty help and encouragement here on the Forum to have you cruising the shores of Lake Geneva or tackling those spectacular alpine roads - that might be a bit of a challenge fro a little Bantam!

You will find just about everything you could ever want on the Forum via the FAQs and technical sections;  ** Please log in to view **.  You'll find that everything has been covered before- at least twice! 🙂 So have a good look around and you'l likely find plenty of info there already. If you get stuck  - just ask 🙂 It makes life much easier when searching to use Google and the template "your query bantam forum " e.g. "fuel mix bantam forum” you'll get much more focused results than using the Forum's internal search engine. And, of course, if you can't find it in the mountain of info, just ask and some of our very helpful and knowledgeable members will be only too happy to give advice. - in any language 🙂

Good luck with your project - looking forward to seeing your progress

All the best,

Stewart

No worries. If you can't spot what you need, just ask (in German, French or English).
