A relative new member to the club and not overly familiar with all nuances of the forum.

However, in the process of restoring a 1951 D1 an idea was put forward by Blueheeler that maybe the workings of the speedometer that I had restored should be shown off by only replacing the glass face without the card marking the speeds. A CNC program was written and an ingraver was found resulting in the finished product shown on a previous post. I would like to forward an etched glass to Blueheeler for his great idea but am unable to contact him through the private message box. Hope you see this post Blueheeler.

If anyone else is interested in one please let me know and I'll look into making more.
