Hi Bantam folks,

We; my uncle and I, are trying to restore a 1950 D1 plunger that he found at the auto wrecker next door. We live in Northern BC, Canada. The original owner of the auto wrecker has been in this small town forever and gave the business over to his son along with some classic bikes,   including the D1. The son sold them all off and might be regretting it. My uncle's kind heart has won over and when it's finished he wants to gift it back to the auto wreckers son. We're just in the early stages of gathering parts as it came incomplete and with several jury rigged bits. I've been tasked with this treasure hunt and though I am very new to this world of classic bike enthusiasts the more I learn about this little bike the more I can't wait to take it for a spin! We look forward to connecting with this group of Bantam lovers.

Hi Jade and Harvey. Lovely storWe've got a few members in Canada and some more in the States. There's a few suppliers in the US - Baxters springs to mind for BSA bits bot there must be others. Otherwise it's a case of international shipping.... If you post some pics we'll have a better idea of what you've got, what you'll need and how we can help best. I'm sure with all the resources at our disposal we'll be able to help greatly.
