After much pushing and pulling with the original Bantam engine (the most unreliable engine in the world) I decided, after reading Flintdogs conversions, to go for it.

I was about to ask that - it looks a bit like the Terry Tweedy alloy tanks.

it rides pretty good , there is no real difference in power maybe the honda engine gives a little more low end torque but that could be down to 5 gears instead of 3.  The tank came of a childs Italjet crosser excellent fit only needing slight mod to the tank ears. The main reason for conversion was for reliability, the banty engine when running was brill but after many stalls and refusing to start resulting in more pushing and swearing . The honda engine is the pre electric start c.d.i. unit ,runs without battery and is utterley reliable. Paul
