Having got my ratbike back on the road the other day (it started second kick after three years of inaction) I went for a windy ride round our traffic free lanes to the shop for milk. Only twenty three miles but great to be out and about.

Another thirty one miles done today. Got to make the most of this dry, mild weather and quiet roads.

Got the engine back in the bike. Also stripped down an EBay Monobloc that arrived, stripping out the choke mechanism and fitting it into my carb.  Also noticed that the throttle spring in my carb was far too thick, no wonder the throttle action was heavy! All corrected now, just got to get a suitable air filter.

Hi to all 🙂

Yesterday i replaced the carburetor of the Triumph Cubcant-look, back to the origingal zenith mxz-18... because i had few issues with the mikuni.

Anyone has an idea how to best adjust this carb?? the Pilot air screw was originally missing but i found a replacement. Never used though..till now

Bad suprice... Was not get used to paying tax 20% doh

Back together after the errant circlip incident. Out for a forty mile round trip to Shingle Street, Suffolk.  Dry but freezing! Why didn’t we go out on Tuesday?

Only another four hundred miles of running in.
