The website is still not functioning properly. The site is operating most of the time and members can log in and navigate around the site; gain access to the members area; and get access to / post on the Forum. The main problem seems to be: that emails sent to any Club Officers' official email addresses get lost in the ether. Some bounce back to the Originator; others don't.

Webmaster Stewart Porter is in the process of negotiating and moving the site to a second alternative Hosting company (after a bad experience with the first 'new' Hosting company). This also involves moving to another Server, which requires setting-up. We're told that it may take another 4-5 days before it's all resolved.

Meanwhile: please use our personal email addresses:

Well said Sunny, I think all members will understand that things go wrong, and as Bantam owners.....we are used to it!

Another thank you from me. I have a friend that ran a forum for years, and still gets involved with it on almost a day-to-day basis. It's way more work than it seems from our side of the keyboard.

Hopefully the issues can be resolved without too much grief.

Thanks for your understanding and support, gents. This has proved to be a more complicated matter than we were first advised. A little like inspecting the twin-switch set up of a D7 with one "creative" previous owner and no wiring diagram freaked-out_gif Hopefully,  all should be resolved shortly, as Bryan says.

All the best,

Just to mention, I believe gmail is black-listed by a number of ISP's, so this may explain why emails don't get through to those addresses. For example I have a gmail account and if I want to send to someone else who's also on gmail I have to use my gmail mail (so a good job I have it). If I use e.g. btinternet (which I also have) they never get through. Also ISP's filters can be fussy about web links embedded in email texts and may block those too. For example, never have a 'sent by mail in Windows 10' as your outlook mail signature (with the word 'mail' being a hyperlink). Guess how I know. Sadly the sender may never know about non arrival of messages since you no longer get a 'failed delivery' message bounced back, and explaning the reasons why and even where it's been and who or what bounced it, which used to be common years ago and thus extremely useful, but now, nothing, nada. frown
