Funnily enough the ty was the hardest to build. The crankcases and outer cases had huge amounts of welding beyond my abilities and done by a friend. It came from a  farm where my daughter used to ride and had had very hard use

Hi Mike!

Your Bantie looks amazing!  And with a personalised classic plate too - MFU.  I assume that stands for Mike Foster's Unstoppable?

Lovely job though - hope mine will look as good eventually!

Hi Nova.

Thank you and everyone else for the compliments on the bike. I did say I would get it restored eventually, although it did take 2 years.

As for unstoppable, that is probably quite true, Bantam brakes are not the best.

Good luck with your Bantie, hope you are on the road soon.

All the best.

      Mike.

Haven't had chance to come on the forum for a while. Lots of family stuff going on and my bikes have had to take a back seat. Plus the rain hasn't stopped here for ages seems like.

Some great looking bikes.

Thanks, the photos flatter her a little bit she is very hand painted in the flesh, not sure to leave her like that or tackle the tin ware, just trying to set up the carb now hoping to avoid buying a new one but there is quite a bit of wear to compensate for but she is starting to run well now, starting well thats another matter! If you click on my you tube site (on the left) there are some vids of other bantams and such and an old, new hudson.

Well Stephen,it was on the bike when I bought it,so it could well be.

I've seen similar that were made by a company called Monsoon (no...not that one!).

Real smart looking bike,Crogger! thumbs-up
