Yes it's not cheap but it looks genuine and original, would look even better with a period battery case...

Guilty as charged.

I`ve never seen these bikes before, not in Oz or UK.

Maybe the Indians will build another "Bantam" soon...Mahindra has the BSA name don`t they? ย India has Norton now too. RE for donkey`s etc.

๐Ÿ™‚ ย ...as with the Swedish micro-chipping parties last year ๐Ÿ™

Hope you win the lotto and can buy your NR500, very nice living-room ornament ๐Ÿ˜‰ I think Honda had been at the `shooms with that design, absolutely wacky. We were peeing ourselves at Brit GP in `79 when Mick Grant slid off on the bike`s own oil in spectacular fashion at the first bend and the Japanese rider retired soon thereafter. None of my group liked Honda back then(even less after attending TT`80)...but I loved that engine & the rule-bending ๐Ÿ™‚

Think it had berylium in the engine somewhere (turns out its radioactive) think the idea with the oval pistons was so it revved like a v8 without the added complexity of 4 extra pistons.

Yes, allowing the space to fit in all those valves and spark plugs. I only want the engine...just as I desire the Merlin lump in the shed up the road from here at RAF Waddington, all nice & original .

When the syndicates I run have another decent win....ย

The 750 in the picture was at the nec show in Birmingham when I was a kid literally had the poster on my wall.Ducati nicked the underseat exhaust idea for the 916.

Bit of a tangent here scared9_gif

Hehe...

I think we`re being cut a bit of slack due to C-19 cabin fever & the fact the OP Will is a thoroughly decent & understanding geezer ๐Ÿ˜‰

Nice to see the Japanese being copied. SpacedMarine, don`t get me started on the 916, I don`t only want the engine for that. Had my chance in `95, buy a 916 or buy a cottage....

Right, I`m gone------------------------------- ๐Ÿ™‚
