Thanks Anderzander.

Unfortunately the photo has not taken kindly to reducing and it should really be a Bantam so I will work on it.

Thanks,

Sounds good, I wouldn't mind changing one of my Bantams for a Norton Jubilee!

Arron,

The picture has gone from your photobucket account ? The avatar works by your photobucket account hosting the picture. If you move it or delete it the address will no longer work.....

If you've moved it - let me know where to and I'll fix it, if you've deleted it then you'll need to make a little version again wink

OK - that picture is 447 x 241 pixels .... and you want it scaled down to 140 wide.

Go to this website:  ** Please log in to view **

Browse - select your picture from your computer, click the button to continue and edit.

A new screen will open - showing your picture.

Click the drop down menu under section 2 - 'resize my picture'.

Select custom - the bottom one.

In the width box enter 140 and press return. Ignore the other box.

Scroll to the bottom of the page - click 'I'm done - resize my picture'.

Then click 'save to disk'   (NOT download).

The re-sized image will then be downloaded back onto your computer and is ready to use !

Well, I've 'smallerised' the BMP file pic I want as an avatar down to 135 pixel width, making it only 39 kb but it still seems to not want to upload???

Sorry Kathy - whats a PM and how do I open/read it? Raising your eyebrows will do no good - I'm just too new at this forum game, good game though it is.

Sorry Pete I took it you knew ... not a Luddite just a learner ... look at the top of your page and you will see an "inbox" (with out the quotes) click on it ... there will be a number next to it ... that is how many messages you have that are not read yet ... have a go and let me know if you got it

Hi Stephen. Can you please list the stages to get an avitar. Your video ended up with a landrover riding across some rough. Which is nothing to do with getting an avitar onto my profile.......Mark.
