Anyone noticed Mike p5xbx's post at the head of this topic?

Indeed, Bob.

The ATOM-related discussion has been moved to "ATOM ignition information" in Bantam Technical Discussion

As per Post No.1

Gentlemen and Ladies For Sale Items Only Please read before posting Item for sale

It seems that this "For Sale" section is getting used for observations on items for sale in other places.
Please can these be kept in General Discussions and this be kept for items "For Sale" only
I shall be moving any non for sale posts ... ........the eBay spots post will be staying as it is used to alert members to items on eBay that they may not of seen.

Is this some modification for the D1 that I've missed because, unless I'm much mistaken, alongside the steering head dust cap is a (very) used disc brake pad? Still, BIN for a tenner...... + 2.50 p&p!crap2.png

But I can still buy Indian -grown grapes in Tesco. It amazes me that a country which has such drinking water issues can irrigate a water-hungry crop like grapes and fly them to the UK. Especially when Oilfield decompressors are unavailable 🙁

That`s worth knowing Stoo, I`ve ordered Sefriken grapes 3wks running from my wholesale organic supplier in Melton-Mowbray & although listed, none are forthcoming. Last ones I had the other month were the bee`s knees. Boxes of tasty large Spanish navel oranges/grapefruit/apples/pears/Costa Rican bananas/French walnuts/pumpkins etc,etc abound, to keep a few of my locals happy. Off to Tezzies it is then, thanks 🙂

Shame about the decompressor, only £6.50 incl p&p...new. I`ve since found a 2-stroke cyl head with one in, same style for £15, so if I get that, I`ll whip it out & sell head on.

Indeed. Ugly as sin. Can't see which bits are "bantam." Somebody put a lot of effort into making that. WHY? Ach well, I don't have to look at it in my garage 🙂 There are some real horrors out there..... that diesel one that was kicking about a while back. Yikes. Beauty, as they say is indeed in the eye of the beholder. I can think of a lot of things that I'd spend 2grand  on instead of that monstrosity. Like something that went wrong in Dr Frankenstein's lab :-0

Yeah, beauty certainly is in the eye of the beer holder....amazing how appealing the local bike looks after a few jars of Bateman`s 😉

Get used to it  Stoo...you are looking at the prototype 2030 model Bantam, when they take our petrol & 2-stroke oil away from us 🙁

On a positive note, thanks for the link to the side panel, it now belongs to moi......or at least it will when I have my paws on it.

Found it...** Please log in to view **

"these are extremely rare items .
these never come on ebay.
I very much doubt you will find another set ."

Hold my beer...or whatever the yoof of today say!

I don`t have the attached & loose pair of small right-angled brackets, could do with measurements for those, however my currently single item does have the bolts and wing nuts.....

The seller also  has a reflector for £95!! Not even NOS! And some ugly saddle bags for £200 which are "post office" but seemed to be tied on to frames with twine! Not for me......

I'm waiting for Blue's Pannier Frame to start work..... 🙂

Looks like an original D1 rigid competition model on EBay at the mo. Sorry I haven’t mastered posting links but it’s up for £2,500. It will need a little work.
