August 30, 2018
I have recently finished my restoration project on my Bantam D7 1961 reg.
Firstly , I would like to point out to other club members that this is currently up for sale at auction on Ebay until Saturday 1st Aug.
I have a minimum reserve on the site at present, but will be open to sensible offers.
If you do have access to Ebay, it has a current bid of £995.
I have owned the bantam for 2 years , and believe that I have brought it to an acceptable condition.
I have the V5 in my name.
Also, due to me working on this in various ways , mainly the following.
New wiring loom, and ignition components.
Front yoke and forks dismantled and new bearings, seals etc. fitted.
Frame and majority of the paintwork re- stove enamelled.
Various other items inc. folding kickstarter and new seat cover with waterproof membrane.
I have a new MOT, valid till July 2021.
Please note, I have only given it a brief run , prior to the test.
So, a full check on engine response, carb settings , any leaks I haven't done. But I feel sure they won't be a problem to resolve for yourselves.
I am located in Newark if you wish to see it. I have a short video of it on tick over.
See attached photos.
Any questions, please PM me,
Any other information, I am willing to help where possible.
My d7 might be super one day !
