Wotcha.

The D14 Sports now has the correct engine back in ( well apart from a Todd head it's correct ) and Sunday was the first "proper" ride out.   It's been on a few local "shakedown" runs, with very few problems I may add. thumbs-up

The blue D7 I photographed was for sale - the notice on the top box saying how it's had new bearings / seals etc - starts and runs fine . . . . sadly, when I went for my dinner there were three people kneeling at the side of it, adjusting points, cleaning plug, checking wiring . . . 'cos it wouldn't start. embarassed

Bantams - don't you just love 'em ? bow

Really liked that, and they laid on a steam train just for you.

You don't see that very often , when a fellow MC pulls over to ask if you are Ok, used to be the case, glad to see some people still do it.

Regarding the blue Bantam, you should have played them your Bantam song, rofl

Last time I stopped at the side of the road to adjust a slipped pannier, a guy on a small old-ish Japanese bike stopped to see if I was OK. And he waited, which was good because the bantam didn't want to fire up again. He didn't speak much English and didn't have any idea how to get the bike going, he just watched while I cleaned out the carb, which did the trick. But at least he stopped. I always stop to help people too. Usually its young lads on mopeds who have run out of petrol.

while tying to get to the Ace my 49er broke down I pushed it home a distance of five miles, a lot of bikes went past but none stopped , when i was about half a mile from home a car did stop and he offered to let me leave the bike in his garage but his garage was further away than my house. must be a London thing

Happened to me last Sunday...I had taken my B175 for a test ride...I was around 8 miles from home and got a flat rear tyre.

I ran my son in law and asked him to bring my Landrover down to stick the bike in the back.

I was sat on the grass waiting for him...its a busy A road...when a white Transit van pulls up...guy came over to me...need any help mate...just passed and see you here I turned around to see if you need you bike running home...I'm a biker myself.

I thanked him so much but told him I was sorted...he looked so sad when he could see I didn't need any help.

What a nice guy.

Nick.

The Beagle with the sidecar looks ambitious! Beautifully done though and the D3 with the expansion chamber looks great, I wonder how it goes?

D7/14 hybrid (4 speed with D7 crank etc.) on the road, D10 Bushman awaiting rebuilding.

Wotcha.

Here we are again - on a BSA, as per normal.

A couple of two legged Bantams make an appearance in the video, and a D14 engined  plunger appears in the photographs.

The photographs can be found ** Please log in to view **   . . . .  and the video should magically appear below.

Mr Lone Wolf,

For the information of an Aussie colonial, what does the "Slow ARAF" of the road in the opening scene mean?
