Fantastic stuff lonewolf,

Some terrific old "hit and miss" engines in there, and those guys who make the small motive engines really are craftsmen. Some nice bikes in the mix as well.

Enjoyed seeing the countryside you ride around in as well.

Wotcha.

Here we go again - sadly not on a Bantam, but a BSA none the less.

It is in keeping with the Bantam Club forum - I met up with "Mosoger" and he did indeed get the teas in thumbs-up

I do like your movies, Lone Wolf. You were going pretty fast on that long straight road where you were overtaking everything! Lovely B33 by the way. I did a lot of miles on the back of an early one of those. Very distinctive sound.

Another great movie, LW. Were on on the M1 at one point? It was three lanes of traffice all moving fast. Not much fun on a bantam. So what engine have you got fitted? It sounded ok and you managed 60 mph!

Not the M1 - it was the A40 . . . goes from one lane, to two lanes, to five lanes, etc.

Currently there's a B175 engine in there, but the original D14 engine now has a new crank, new bearings and seals, and will be fitted back in sometime this week ( if I get around to it fingers-crossed ).

It seemed to cope with my 16 stone ( plus whatever I was carrying at the time ).

It was a B175 engine - as for faith - apart from a primary chain and clutch plates which I fitted earlier, that engine was run as I bought it.  It sounded and felt right, so I thought why not use it until the original engine is rebuilt ?  I'm in the RAC, so getting back home if it did fail wouldn't be a problem.

It certainly was cold - much colder than the last couple of years.  I did consider turning back by the time I'd reached Stratford on Avon, but the sun was just about winning the battle with the mist, so I carried on.
