Wotcha.

I've just bought one of these Drift video cameras and so far I'm more than pleased with the results.

OK, so I'm still experimenting with microphones and camera mounts, but I'll eventually hit on the best combination.thumbs-up

The only downside I've found is the camera does not like the vibration from BSA singles oops

Enjoyed that LW,the wavy speedo was spooky....like special effects from an old Dr Who episode.confused

When I get rid of my trojan I`ll be able to get out of safe mode on this old computer and will be able to enjoy the sound too.

I had a brief encounter with a contour roam, we didn`t get on so it went back to Amazon who I must say were excellent with returns. I`m in the market for another helmet cam and the ghost got 8 out of 10 in adventure bike magazine ,unbelievably the go-pro got a higher rating.

Does it take a normal sd card and is the battery a removeable item ? I hope so as they are major pluses in my book. The thing that's holding me back is the £299 price tag , still I guess you get what you pay for. Is it Chinese made LW ?

Wotcha.

Funnily enough I've just this minute got back in . . . from using the camera.

It takes a micro SD card - yep battery is removable ( and I carry a spare ).  Realistically the battery will last around 2 to 2½ hours - considerably shorter in very cold weather.

Looking on the back of the camera now . . . very small lettering "Made in China" - but saying that, I can't fault it . . .yet.

I bought the "Motorcycle pack" from ** Please log in to view **. . . delivered next day before dinnertime.

So far I love this camera.  I tend to use it on the 720p setting, rather than full 1080 HD.  The only silly little niggle I have is the fact that the camera is waterproof but the remote is not.

Another good ride out ... you really have some fantastic countryside to ride in ... serious sheep infestations ... not sure they would survive some of the idiot born agains that infest darkest Essex.
