ride1.jpgride4.jpgride.jpgride3.jpgGedday, today I took my bike for a ride with the British Two Stroke Club of Australia from my home in Belgrave to the Upper Yarra Dam and then to the club's monthly meeting at Launching Place.

The round trip was a distance of a little over 170km which is the longest one day trip the little chook has done. A leisurely trip through some beautiful Aussie countryside with plenty of time to enjoy the scenery (what else can you do on a D!?)

Beautiful Autumn weather helped make a most enjoyable ride and the chook did not miss a beat.

«censored»...............

Was going to do that run Jack from Ian and Sally's. I like Ian's Bonny, it was a good pickup. His brother's Sunbeam I think was owned by their Dad and always goes well.

You missed a good annual rally. Have posted some pics.

We'll have to get MD sorted and have a Bantam only run from my place. Glad to hear the bike ran well.

Mr Bones

A Bantam only run sounds like a plan - better make sure that it is on a nice flat part of the state though!

Maddog, start working, we need another one.

The Sunbeam is spooky - it passed me doing, maybe 80kph, or so, and wasn't making any noise. Ian's Bonny is a little smokey but nice all the same.

Plenty of Bantam appropriate roads down my way.

140km round trip for fresh fish and chips at Port Albert...........Woodside pub half way.............Pub at destination!

Nearly all back roads. The only main road is the South Gippsland Hwy which is plenty wide enough to be overtaken on.

Come on MD......we're waiting!
