The season "opener". Well worth going, the usual Bantam stand and crew will be there. Lots to see including plenty of tat and bargains!

I'll be there both days on the MCC stand with JSJ230 in Exeter trial aftermath guise, so rock up and say hello.

Hello all: yesterday we received a notification from Mortons Media, who run the show, confirming that it will still be going ahead despite the dreadful weather in that area. For anyone travelling from afar: I suggest that you monitor the ClassicBikeShows website - because the forecast suggests that the weather is going to deteriorate further over the next couple of days with high winds and heavy rain, exacerbating the flooding. That said: we normally have driving show over the 'Bristol weekend' so at least this makes a change..

I think substitute "snow" for "show"  in Bryan's piece.

I'm pretty certain that the Bath and West Showground is in an elevated position compared to the "Levels". Because it is fairly flat the show ground parking might be wet and muddy but hopefully not flooded (yet).

Bantam1954 - thanks for pointing out my typo. I meant 'snow' not 'show.'

All - the update from Mortons Media is - that anyone travelling to the show from SW of Taunton should approach via the M5 Junc 23, then follow the A39 and A361 through Street and Glastonbury to the showground.

I have now read this three times, just to make sure that I've not made any more typos...
