What time is everyone meeting?

I might come along even though I've sold the Bantam and will come in the car!

Just checked my old 1986 truck on there Howard, wouldn't be using it of course, just giving them something to think about...seems that I need to get a filter and get it fitted, have a test? Whaaaaat? Utter tripe, after London's been polluting the rest of the country for so long! dd.

I had hoped to ride our bantams to the Ace from Wiltshire, not on really as we have sooo much going on and I have to be at work at oo.somthing silly the next day. We thought the best next thing to do is trailer our bikes to my work in London and ride from there. No long distance for us then eh Howard!laugh

See you there Doug, is Sara coming.

I thought of doing that as well, one of my tile suppliers has his W/H just of the Hanger lane so only round the corner, but have other things to bring so car and trailer is my only option really.

Yes Sara will be there, room for two bantams on the trailer. I feel a little bit of a fraud doing it this way.embarassed. But if I can`t do it this way then , its not at all. I guess , how we get there doesn`t matter as long as we are I think.

Hope its better than the 50 th. anniversary of the mgb. we took ours to today. It was at Blenheim Palace . We got there in the dry , just, the rain was worthy of Noah!

I would like to go, probably travel down from Tamworth on the Saturday and find a B&B or Hotel. If anyone is also travelling down from the A5 or from the Midlands on Saturday we could meet up.

Sam

Wotcha.

Now that's a thought.  Go most of the way there on Saturday and find digs for the night - do the Ace - then spend most of Sunday taking a leisurely ride home.

I'm only fifteen miles from Tamworth too.

<<fires up Google>>

Hmm - London prices are scary.wow

How about** Please log in to view **- on the road we need, and only 30 mile from the Ace . . . . but half the London price thumbs-up

I believe deeseven, from Worcester was talking about going too.

Sounds good to me, how about it deeseven

Wotcha.

Any takers ?

Looking good for the longest distance travelled on a bantam prize.

I also feel a bit of a fraud doug, as it is me that is organising it, but need to bring various things with me and don't have room on a trail bike.

Just a thought - after looking on the map - maybe ( this is if deeseven from Worcester is coming too ) meeting up at the cafe on Wellesbourne Airfield . . . it's about 40 miles from each of us . . . . . then sort of head London-ish on the A34 - A44 - A40 . . . which just happens to go past Chris's cafe thumbs-up

<<edit>>

Ah well - looks like I'll be going then.............. just booked my room at Chris's cafepopcorn

I wonder if they have a selection of cakes ? wink

I am now geting quite excited, when I started this I thought maybe a couple of people would turn up as well as myself.

I really appreciate the support you are all showing for this gathering.

Thanks Howard
