I cannot believe that its been a year nearly since the last Ace run.wow  Once again this year we will be sharing the cafe car park with the legendary 59 club .

I shall try and get there a little earlier this year as riding up when the roads are quieter is always preferable.thumbs-up

I will be riding over from Essex on my D1 Rigid provided that the weather is fair. The A406 should be fun on a Sunday but at least it will be quiet in the morning.

I've been three times I think now, if it's fine I'll be out on my bantam somewhere else, not quite the same without "H", I hope those going have a good time and can share some pics later.

Four now on the road and at least several in bits.

Sara,  Len and I will be there from 10.30 ish. One of the bikes will be a barn find  from the village I live in that has lain dormant for 35 years. Lone Wolf's bike also came from my village as did Prescott the d10 sport that I built and raced in a hiil climb.

I am really looking forward to an Ace breakfast 🙂 Look forward to seeing those who can make it this year.

Wotcha.

Got back at a quarter past six - exactly 12 hours from when I set off.   The pushbike clock trip meter says 282 miles - my Garmin says 258 . . . . even with the lower figure, I still managed 105 mpg.

Great to meet up with everyone - worth the ride there.

Photographs and video to follow.

Lovely pics LW, makes me feel a bit ashamed at not going half the distance you went, that it would have been for me, here.

Enjoyed your pic show, thank you for taking the trouble to let us all see them.

How did the leg cope?

Great photos as per L.W . Really good to see you again what with you coming so far just for a few hours in London and then the long ride home. You deserve a medal for your constant un stinting support .thumbs-upclap

And to everyone else who attended a big bravo for being there and spreading the bantam word.bow

Wotcha.

The B175 engine that took me to the Ace Cafe and back is now out of the bike . . . the "proper" engine is in place ( OK, so it's got a Todd head ).

Just need to cover a few hundred local miles to make sure everything is as it should be.
