Hi All

finally got the JPS Bantam finished with heat shields and now registered with age related plate, starts easily and runs well so pleased with it,if this dry weather lasts I will put a few running in miles on it and sort any gremlins that might appear in the meantime here's a pic. Also another pic of my next project! Not the female just what she's sitting on.image.jpegimage-1.jpeg

I have an S3 waiting for restoration, it needs a lot of work though.....

Current bikes......1958 D5, a 77 Suzuki GT250 and a 77 Honda CB125S. I have a B175 in the workshop and a 76 Honda C90 waiting its turn. A 1980 Honda CB400N waiting for MOT.  Everyday ride is a 2011 Harley Davidson Sportster.

Thanks Basil,glad you like it

Hi Bart, yes the grass is real imitation it's been down 4 years now,one of the best decisions I ever made!

Hi Steve, the KH also needed loads of work bought in boxes as " mostly complete" in fact I have so far bought over 40 parts for it from far and wide,Germany,Australia,USA,Taiwan and Scotland it's a devil trying to source the correct bits not to mention damned expensive it's turning into a real money pit but in true Mastermind fashion I've started so I'll finish,is yours complete?I may have some useful spares which are common to both models left over after the rebuild, good luck with it.

Cheers Digby

My S3 isa US import. Like you, I have bought lots of bits to try and get the parts ready for when I start the Resto. I still need a set of silencers, wiring loom, left side panel etc etc, so let me know what you have left. I can get a brand new set of expansion chambersfor it, for around £600. That may work out cheaper than an original set to repair and rechrome. Most of the one I have seen so far have been rotten.

Hi Digby,

I have just picked up your creation! Been after a Bantam for a while, saw the one you did and really liked the job you did!

Would be interested to find out any history you have on the bike, what you had to do to restore it, etc.

Cheers,

Ben
