Hi all again

One of my pet hates is a wobbly pivot and having found that the rear brake pedal wobbles on its pivot I wish to stop this if I can.

Does anyone know if it's the pivot bolt that wears or is it the bore of the pedal that wears?

Getting a new pivot bolt is not a problem but if the hole wears I will need to put a thin bush in to take up the slack  as I doubt if new brake pedals are now available.

Has anyone had the same problem and overcome it

Thanks

Dave

Hi,

i think it’s the pedal that wears most, not that they were very tight when new! I think there is a generous clearance!

A bush is probably the way to go.

Actually you can get NOS brake pedals on eBay, but if you buy one you'd probably want to paint it as they're ex-GPO stock.

I have no connection to the vendor, etc.
