I've just been fitting the rear wheel on my 1969 B175 project & I seem to be missing the bracket on the swing arm that the brake back plate bolts to, some sort of 'P' clip?

Can I get this or is there an alternative I can use?

Thanks

If you look in the members area there is a parts manual for the b175, that will show you how it fixes

Current bikes......1958 D5, a 77 Suzuki GT250 and a 77 Honda CB125S. I have a B175 in the workshop and a 76 Honda C90 waiting its turn. A 1980 Honda CB400N waiting for MOT.  Everyday ride is a 2011 Harley Davidson Sportster.

Here you go...I thought it was brazed on but it looks to a folded big P clip...around 4mm thick.DSCN8218.JPGDSCN8220.JPGDSCN8222.JPG

Hi

I took one of these off once. It was brazed, with a locating pin presumably to ensure it was positioned correctly. Should be straightforward (for someone with the skills!) to sort out or go for a replacement swinging arm?

regards
