I have a digital electronic rev counter on one of my bantams it idles at
around 1100rpm
dont think there had ever been an official figure for it from BSA

I got on of these on ebay about 4 years ago for £4 I think and its still working. they are really meant for boats or stationary engines as it also has an hour meter, works 2 strokes and 4 strokes
fitted it on the centre panel of the tank with a magnet
can only find it on amazon now
had to use a tinyURL as the link to amazon did strange things
