Gearbox output gear bushes

Has anyone changed the 2 bushes in the gearbox output gear?

If so, how did you do it?

How I did mine , saw cut through the old bushes then you should be able to

knock them out , use a set screw of the correct diameter,to pull them in important so they

go in square , just check the position of the old bushes before the are removed.

you will find that they shrink a bit and will need honing, I used a round dowel type

of wood   with fine rubbing down paper wrapped around, stick one end of wood

in a vice if you have one , slide the gear up and down whilst turning it,

every so often trying it on the shaft which may have a high spot between the bushes,

it'l take some time but with care a perfect fit can be achieved,some bushes and sleeves have an oil

hole  in them , might be 3 speed . hope the above rubbish helps!
