Good evening everyone, A little help please.

I've had my engine stripped to change the crank seals. All going well until I've come to put the selector back, I took the cam assy apart & need to realign the gear but can't find a picture of the alignment marks for the gear.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could help please.

Thanks a lot

Thanks both,

I have the manuals Coco, thanks but not too clear other than the write up.

Thanks Wolf, that's more what I was looking for.

Have a look at the excellent four speed gearbox rebuild instructions in the technical area too.

I've just had a look at Gary's  gear box rebuild guide, just what I needed ! Thanks for nod.

I had seen it in the technical section but hadn't  opened it.

Back to the shed !

Cheers, Barrie.

Thanks everyone, I think I have 4 gears now.

I don't know who Gary is but special thanks to him for his guide.

Perhaps Stoo was wondering (like me) why you had not looked at the guide if you had a gearbox problem?

It’s easily done when you’re just flicking through.

The guide is great, really easy to follow, glad you got sorted Baz. I live close to Gary and enlisted his help via video to diagnose a problem with finding top gear, turned out to be a wonky return spring.  As someone has said for a simple machine they do turn out to be very complicated to fix!

Regards.
