Hi Astruk. I dont know what size they are but you may be able to buy a short length of steel tube off ebay and just cut to required length. The other problem I have with my D14 is if I tighten the rear most cover bolt too a reasonable torque it distorts the cover which tightens up on the kickstart shaft. It's because the gasket doesn't extend in as far as the bolt boss so. I need to make a little gasket ring of the same thickness as the main gasket to fit in there so I can properly tighten the rear cover bolt. Alan.

I bought a set from Bournemouth Bantams, but I think they were made from 10mm tube as they were just oversize.
So what size should they be coco?I'd measure mine but they're currently inside my engine 🤣🤣🤣
I'm guessing if 10mm is oversized the nearest imperial would be 3/8 or 9.53mm but I'm just guessing
What's 7/16 in mm again?

I don't recall offhand, 3/8" is just under 10 mm, so perhaps that. I'm sure they have been discussed before (FAQs?
) so might be worth a trawl. I'll measure them when I have a chance.
Drill shanks make good size guides, btw.
Its a hollow dowel ext diameter is 3/8 inch measured with a drill bit
internal would be the clearance for the casing bolt to pass through

Thanks for all the replies.
I have just measured up the holes in the primary and r/h crankcase and it is indeed 9.5mm (3/8”) with clearance to allow the retaining bolt, front dowel I’d is 6.5mm
I will get some 10mm mild steel tube and get a colleague to machine it down for me.

3/8” outside diameter, 5/16” inside.
The ones listed on eBay, and supplied by the less scrupulous, are just cut from 10mm O/D 8mm I/D tube stock. I have recently returned some, along with a pair of main bearings, listed, priced and pictured as quality ones but actually cheap unbranded rubbish in a plastic bag when they arrived. Caveat Emptor indeed...

I called Draganfly yesterday morning regarding their “out of stock” dowels (90-0108) and was advised that they will be machined “in house” but no indication as to when this will be done 🥲
looks like my only option is to get a colleague to machine me one from some stock mild steel tubing.
