Jimmy!

I just posted in another thread suggesting you introduce your bike to us - forgetting it was here!

Apologies for forgetting.

Love that silver finish!

I have seen that powder coat recently at my local coaters - it was on a push bike frame and I mistook it for polished alloy. Amazing.

Do you plan to run with the nacelle or the trials style set up ?  I'm a sucker for the nacelle - and I think the black goes a treat with the silver tinware Laugh

hi jimmy we seem to be suffering from the same problems . changing the o rings on the air and idle screws did help a bit but not enough but i do have this 180 main jet to change . ill let you know what happens iv just about exhausted every avenue. allot of the parts in my carb are from wessel i will probably change those. your bike is looking great that silver is quite something very neat

hi Jimmy iv got my tuning sorted iv had an air leek on the air screw even with a new o ring it still leeks a bit , when the bike is running and i spray the air screw with wd the engine note changes so i think it must be the body thats worn , i also changed all the parts that were not amal . my barrel is a d14 so the 180 jet was not right iv used a 170, i also changes the needle and i found the air valve guide was missing . the needle is the 4 stroke needle evidently that what the 626 is supposed to run with surprised

Jimmy,

Do you have any close up pics of your wheels ?   I'm considering having mine done in the shiny powdercoat as a cheaper option to rebuilding them.

Bike coming along nicely. I have a cover(binnacle?) for that exposed speedo, I bought it recently from a feebay deal from a local man who used to trial Bantam yonks ago, I will put a pic on if anyone is interested, or maybe I'll put it in the for sale section too?

Just a thought, David.
