Thanks Graham,I was in two minds whether to let it go but the museum has a footfall in excess of 250,000 a year so although it won't be "on the road" it will be seen by lots of people many of whom are from schools so maybe they will get some idea of the bikes we rode at their age,also it's now in a controlled environment so it should stay in top condition for a long time to come.
Incidentally I have turned down a similar offer for my D14/4 sport,I'm keeping that one!
