Hi everyone, I thought it time I uploaded some pics. The frame is what I did today. Fitted sub frame, fork yokes, battery carrier and rear shocks. The engine pics are of when I removed the bearings and fitted replacements. The engine was in a bit of a sorry state when I stripped it down. Seized and completely ruined clutch, no piston, barrel damaged, the usual damage to casing due to chain coming off, the flywheel housing was caked in grease, two dogs missing on the second gear, flywheel crank and crankcases covered in thick sticky oil, etc., etc. So rebuilt the engine with all new bearings and oil seals, new little end, replaced 2nd gear, new clutch, replacement barrel and rebored, new piston. Just got to fit barrel, head etc. I started keeping records of what I spent, but it got too frightening and I hope the wife doesn't find out. I've got most of the other bits and everything seem to be coming together.

Looking very good clap. I understand about keeping records of costs, and the wife finding out. Your a good bit ahead of my build. My engine is totally stripped today and front forks fully dismantled. So Rex and Debbs have a shopping list off me and just waiting on costs.fingers-crossed

Hi Mick, I may be ahead but I think I must have been at this for about 3 years now. I have had a bit of a spurt on for the last couple of months, before winter sets in. I suppose I have just thrown money at it lately. Rebuilt the front forks with new stanchions ,so they are ready to go on. Got the wheels with new tyres. The tank has been resprayed and I have found a sign writer not far away, because I want a gold line painting on. cheers

Hi Stephen, You're right. I will take a couple of pics as soon as I can dig it out of the garage and put the front wheel back on. fingers-crossed
