My 65 D7 Trail Bronc has the usual clipped rear fender, right at the riveted fender stay band. I found a that a 71 Triumph 250 front fender is the same "D" profile, and ~ 4 " wide. I have one in hand, ready to donate to the cause! Before I attempt the surgery, I need some info:
1) what is the measurement from the fender "tip" to the center of the riveted fender stay band?
2) can someone post a picture of the end of the fender? is it a rolled edge or a straight cut?
3) For 65, Sapphire blue is the same as the bronc "Nutley Blue" (for nutley NJ bikes.) does someone have a standard US paint code that matches?

The distance from the bottom of the stay support strap to the bottom tip of the fender is 9 inches.
The fender also has four holes pre-drilled to accept a rear light fitting.
I took the measurements from a genuine original TB rear fender.
I will try to get a photograph but is not always easy at this time of year.
