Hi guys i'm new to this site and doing my first D7 restoration. My question is probably a simple one. I am just about to put the forks back together but I am unable to find out how much oil to put in I know its 30W50 oil but don't know how much and the manual just says ensure you put in the correct amount but doesn't say how much that is. I'll look forward to your responses as I'm dying to get on with it. Thanks

If you go to the " Tech Tips " section on this site you will find a D7 instruction manual in that manual it states capacity 1/8 th of a pint for each fork leg.

The original handbook says SAE20 oil but I don't think it will make much difference.
