Hi I am putting the wiring loom back on my D7 please could somebody post some pictures of the route it is supposed to take from the head light to the battery compartment, also how the horn / dip switch wiring gets into the head light? How is it held on? Do we used cable ties or insulation tape?

Regards Mark

The big ring connector goes on the left of my frame, the wire goes under the, then round the left of headstock (out the way of the steering lock) and above the petrol tank mounting pip, and into the back of the headlight.

It's pretty much a case of where it fits, and I've used under bonnet cloth tape (not duct tape, this stuff is the proper stuff) which looks vintage and won't rub the hell out the paint like cable ties.

Hopefully that helps 🙂
