Hi, could anyone with a D7 battery model let me know the length of the spacers, as per the photo below. I'm pretty sure the ones on the bike are wrong (too short) especially considering one bolt was too long, and the other was too short!

Anyone? Have removed the part number I posted to start with as it was actually wrong so not sure what the part number is unless anyone has a parts book?

All the parts books are in the members section if you are a club member.

Current bikes......1958 D5,  and a 76 Honda C90 in the workshop.

Hi Neil,

Is this link any good to you.

Your side panel back-plate, resting on the blue floor covering, should go on next...over that long bolt, yes? It bolts to the mudguard bracket I believe? , but can`t see your bracket? and tag to mudguard bolt on frame welded cylindrical lug lower down. I`ve rebuilt plenty over the years and after a break, this part usually has me scratching my head a bit. No ideas for any bolt lengths, apart from those mentioned in the parts list. I just loosely assemble and if the bolts have a few threads showing after nuts are tightened, that`s good enough for me.

Thanks Blue, I had Draganfly open on the computer while I was building the bike so I could replace various incorrect or missing bolts 🙂

I hadn't put the bracket on the mudguard at the time, fitting the side panel seemed to pull it in too far which is why I feel like those spacers are the wrong length. The top bolt (number 45) should be 3 3/4" long, the lower bolt (number 46) apparently doesn't exist so I'm currently using a bolt around 3 5/8" which I had spare, but the threads both stick out a lot, further making me suspect the spacers are incorrect.h

The part number is not terribly important, just a kind person with a tape measure who's prepared to measure their spacers, plan B is to add spacer washers until I have 1/8" or less thread sticking out the tightened nut and then cut some spacers that length.

While looking up regarding the thread of the nuts for the for the tool box lid, I happened across the below post which describes the length of the spacer that I was looking at, and also the spacers for the tool box lid.
