brandy new at this: just got my flywheel puller!
so: removed the points plate stuff, now looking into the flywheel magnets.
I assume: remove the nut, then just remove with puller? both RH thread? I don't want to mess up the end of the crank

If you've bought a decent puller it will be machined nicely where the hollow bolt engages with the end of the crankshaft, make sure you remove the tiny little key first, or it will be mangled and shaft won't go in correctly, try not to resort to hammering on the puller, you could lose magnetism that way from the rotor magnets.
Get the puller onto as many threads as you can also, no good just trying with two or three as tool will rip them apart.
Some WD40 or thin oil doesn't hurt, even if it's not needed after all, give things every chance to work as they should and generally they do. HTH.
Four now on the road and at least several in bits.
