I was just wondering if any of you bantam experts had made your own single hole toolbox lid and plunger chain guard,as they seem such rare parts im temted to have a go myself, would like to know if anyone has had any success themselves.

regards dan.

There is a you tube video making a plunger chainguard if I remember correctly, I do not know how to put a link in, it was a bantam restoration video in a few parts, try a search on you tube, it was quite easy to make I made one following the instructions a couple of years ago

Hi D3dan,

All the chainguards I supply are made by me.

PM me if you want any info and there are pictures of the guards on our website.

I don't have a drawing as I have templates I use for the chain guards when I make them. I do batch runs of around 50 at a time both rigid and plunger.

Toolbox lid I do have a press die for, however the manufactured product requires work after being pressed out as it's a bit big on the "diameter" of the lid. I've never used it...........but I should give it a try! That's if I still have all the bits..........

regards,
