hi all can anyone help me please i have bolted my chainguard on correctly but it sits really tight against topend of shock absorber as this is my first bantam d7 im just not sure

Tolerance between the outer edge of the chain guard and the rear unit is very small.I seem to remember that when I fitted my new one I had to exert a small amount of pressure on the bracket that fixes on to the rear mudguard to get correct alignment. If you loosely fix at the front you can check whether this will help. Hope this is of assistance.

Hello .......yes the chain guard on the d7 just fits ! my chain gaurd is plumb up to the shock too...........do as suggested above also a small shim may help to hold it just off........dont want to admit this but i also used a bit of force and sort of made it fit !!!!!!
