Hi Craig,

Yes, no problem. Give me a call and we can sort it out. For such an interesting project they are yours for the postage or swap for an earlier set that you can't use, whichever. Ideally I am looking for an early set for the direct lighting set up - ie the inbuilt ht coil and the two lighting coils at the bottom. I missed a set on Ebay a week or two back

Cheers,

Jim

Hi all,

Although Jim and I still need to talk about coils, as it's not got the right set up at the moment, the Bantam is up and running and in the condition we had hoped to achieve. Mary rode it briefly at the Overland Event last weekend for the first time since 1976.

Please see a couple of pictures below.

It seems that the right place for this bike is on permanent display somewhere. A museum probably. Any ideas folks?

Kind regards,

Craig. Mary-Bantam-at-Overland.jpgMary-with-Bantam.jpg

That's great news, and photos too. Perhaps the team at Overland Events could suggest a home for it? tip-my-hat

Please ask if she's writing about this . Or if she would do an interview for the banter . It just seems incredible !

An interview for the Banter is a brilliant idea, Doug 👍 and I'd think that the National Motorcycle Museum might give it a new home Or...I don't know the costs involved but wouldn't it be great if the Club could "hold" it and show it at different events around the country? Whatever, such a special bike and story deserves  as much exposure as possible 🙂
